This segment also provides patent protected filters for the aluminum cast house industry; and the filtration of gray and ductile iron, as well as filtration of superalloys used in the manufacture of turbine blades. The company is also involved in trading activities. It operates in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, South America, the United States, Asia, and Africa, as well as other North American Free Trade Agreement countries. Porvair plc was incorporated in 1982 and is based in King's Lynn, the United Kingdom.
